Originating from a desire to break free from the sharp, boxy shapes of modern sofas, Josephine is defined by the rounded, elegant shapes that form the armrests and the backrest, three separate parts that embrace the seat like flower petals. The proportions are delicate, made even lighter thanks to the seat, which is visibly raised above the ground.
Josephine is a product with balanced proportions, whose femininity begins, of course, with the name, which is a tribute to Josephine Baker, an emancipated woman and an icon of provocation of the 1930s. She was famous for her African-American beauty, as well as her quick wit and quick changes.
Seat made of flame-retardant polyurethane foam, backrests and armrests made of polyester fiber filling and injected fire-resistant foam on a wooden frame. Feet made of varnished ash or varnished beech.
Polyethylene glides.
Available in fabric or leather. The covers of the Josephine collection are not removable.
