“e la nave va” is a vibrant design that interacts with its users, maintaining a wonderful balance between formal elegance and ergonomics. The textile belt connecting the structure distributes the load evenly, thanks to which the sofa adapts perfectly to the body, ensuring greater flexibility and optimal durability.
Atelier Oï joins the Alias design team with its sofa "e la nave va" (literally, and the ship sails on). The research path and constructivist approach of Swiss designers fit well into the DNA of Alias, a company that has always placed construction principles above formal design requirements.
The sofa's structure uses a system of visible slats inspired by the structure of wooden boat hulls: flexible ribs support the cushions and are attached to two wooden rails suspended on stylish aluminum legs.
