The daybed is rightfully one of Eileen Gray's most famous designs. The lounge "offers pleasant and comfortable seating and is particularly suitable for relaxation." What Eileen Gray hides in her modesty is the fact that the sofa is enchantingly beautiful, accessible from all sides and pleasant from every perspective. It is an ideal decoration that can be freely placed in a spacious room.
In 2015, ClassiCon released the adjustable E1027 table in a black version. Its appearance refers to the famous version of the classic design that Eileen Gray personally used in her House E1027. From 2019, the matching day bed is available with a black frame.
Over the last 50 years, the average body height has increased by almost 10 centimeters. Therefore, in consultation with the license holder, we have been offering a second, larger Day Bed Grand format since 2019.
