Designed inspired by the shape of a shovel, the Ames chair features a smoked oak frame and premium fabric cushion, designed to provide comfort while maintaining our distinctive, modern industrial finish. Ames is a collection of bar, counter and dining chairs. Relaxed, almost egg-shaped and extending on both sides towards the seat cushion, the backrest of this model is made of oak and then completely upholstered in fabric or leather. Instead of hidden joints, the chairs' tapered oak legs extend upwards onto seat and back cushions, embellished with brass details that subtly evoke District Eight's signature combination of our favorite materials. The Ames collection, which also includes armrests in other variants, can inspire a calm sense of warmth and elegance at the heart of your beloved spaces.
