Johan Lindstén captured the beauty of the seasons in autumn, winter, spring and summer sceneries depicted on the back of a poetic embroidery chair; cross-stitch, a sublime synthesis of traditional embroidery techniques handed down from generation to generation and the latest industrial technology.
Small armchair in a numbered edition with a solid ash structure, plywood backrest with inner padding, upholstered in cross-stitch embroidered fabric. The armchair is available in four standard combinations of wood finish and pattern embroidered on the backrest.
Construction: solid ash and poplar plywood backrest with ash veneer
Back padding: polyurethane foam
Upholstery: fabric with wool embroidery cross stitch in 4 design variants, one for each season: Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter
Finish: fixed combinations of finishes on the structure and embroidery on the back
- 113 bleached ash: with spring embroidery
br />- A10 ash dyed red with aniline: with summer embroidery
- 117 ash dyed walnut: with autumn embroidery
