Fabric upholstered armchair with armrests from the KIM collection, designed by Matthieu Pauthe for La Manufacture du Design. Kim is a series of chairs designed by Matthieu Pauthe for Cider. Designed for a tertiary universe, with sober and elegant shapes, Kim is ready to adapt to any environment. Inspired by the accuracy of Japanese creations, Matthieu Pauthe named this masterfully designed compact sofa "Kim", in homage to Japanese kimonos. The design principle of this piece of furniture is obvious and simple: a structural wooden base, a matching seat cushion and a backrest protector. The ambition of this collection is to return to the basics, constantly striving to combine comfort, functionality and optimization. Kim is able to coexist with all universes, even the busiest ones. It discreetly blends in with all styles and greets every guest with distinction.
