DB is the Spanish abbreviation for "Diamante en Bruto" (diamond in the rough). Elena and Esther Castaño have been joking about this nickname for years, every time they settle into the old prototype designed by her father. Every summer, a huge, comfortable armchair surrounded them while they read or took a nap. They always said, “We don't understand why this hasn't been presented to the public! With some minor corrections, it would fit perfectly into the Sancala catalogue. It is a diamond in the rough that needs to be polished…”
So after a little restyling and modernization, the DB is ready for everyone to enjoy.
Its beveled and faceted angles, even applied to the legs, remind us of the noble stone. On the other hand, raw lines refer to the "rough" name of the product. Now it's your turn to decide if you want to polish it.
