Product description
Orografie's mastery is told in a new product designed and narrated by Aricò: AGATA. The design made by Mendini for Proust was reinterpreted by Aricò in a contemporary tone with spray cans (for wood and fabric) in metallic colors. The armchair was designed starting from the richly detailed symbolism of the reliquary bust of Saint. Agatha made by Giovanni di Bartolo in 1376. The technique used is wood carving made using new technologies with the help of a master carver. The armchair composed of a wooden "decorative frame" is cozy complemented by 4 "free" pillows. The "unfinished" motif in the legs of the armchair is an invitation to discover the handicraft behind this design. The "naked" version serves as a canvas for graphics painted directly by hand using the Aricò "graffiti" spraying technique. The threads of the unique VS series intertwine into a hybrid narrative built on new traditions.
