Jasper Morrison, a leading designer on the contemporary design scene, joins the B&B Italia design team this year with Bankside, a micro edition of community seating, originally created
for the prestigious Tate Gallery of Modern Art in London, designed by the duo Herzog & De Meuron.
The Bankside armchair and sofa combine functional features associated with public use, but their slim profile and high wear resistance also perfectly meet the requirements of home interiors. The supporting frame can be made of satin finished aluminum, painted black, tin or light gray, black and smoked oak wood. The covers are available in leather or fabric.
