Transforming a simple shape into a comfortable seat by removing some of its aesthetic elements makes Bend a recognizable yet discreet object. Its soft shapes combine bold, square volumes of vertical surfaces. But Bend also showcases tailoring details: the corners are made of vertical fabric or leather straps sewn with double stitching.
