To be both a seat and a sculpture, a lounge chair must meet standards that seem contradictory. Developed in cooperation with Werner Aisslinger, the new DS-144 refutes this paradox. Minimalist in its streamlined design, it provides maximum seating comfort. The flatness created by the surrounding edges gives the DS-144 extraordinary clarity, immediacy and immediacy. The star-shaped base establishes and continues the striking design language that enables the DS-144 to blend into contemporary living areas and challenging architectural designs with equal success. Thanks to the upholstery in subdued shades, the aesthetic effect results solely from the shape of the chair and the quality of its leather. Exciting accents are created by the contrasting color of the decorative stitching or the varnish of the star-shaped base. The deeper dimensions of the DS-144 beg to be experienced: thanks to its precise sculptural design, it holds the body in a comfortable embrace, like a perfect race car seat.
