DESIGN AND PRACTICALITY
Linearity in the Il Volo model reaches perfection. A sober design that eliminates unnecessary and lives essentially from two properly composed lines, a soft and enveloping seat and a light and dynamic backrest line. A backrest that is born from the balance between strength and design, and creates movement that can encompass night and day, conversation and relaxation. Conversation facilitated by a 65 cm wide seat is intended for the office, everyday use and for breakfast. Relaxation instead is an 85 cm wide seat designed for evening comfort and leisure time. The project is part of a collection of upholstered furniture with multiple uses and universality. In addition to traditional compositions, thanks to the many sizes available in the catalog, you can create modern furniture solutions.
The movement of the backrests is orderly and silent. Thanks to recesses created in special seats, the backrest can be moved forwards and backwards, and at the end of its travel it has a mechanical stop to prevent it from moving. The classic armrest is replaced by a roller cushion, which has a weight at the bottom to limit its movement.
TECHNICAL FEATURES
Construction
of solid wood, with springy and elastic straps with various rubber components. Padding made of polyurethane foam of various densities and white velvet coating. Movement backrest made of painted iron with bulges made of foam of varying density and a cover made of polyester fiber combined with thick polyurethane.
Seat cushion
duvet made of real channeled and hypoallergenic feathers with an insert made of polyurethane foam of various thickness. Formed using a 3-axis machine and then machined on the back to be able to adapt to the movement of the backrest.
Backrest cushion
padded with compartments of Piumafib, a special hypoallergenic blend of real down and silicone hollow polyester fiber. They are equipped with a mechanism with a mechanical stop that can transform the seat from relaxation to conversation (65 cm / 85 cm).
Cover
in completely removable fabric or non-removable natural leather. Backrest and seat cushion with removable covers in both versions.
Foot
made of polished cast aluminum, height 12 cm.
