Butterfly is a sofa designed to take center stage as the absolute hero. Inspired by the title of Puccini's opera, it takes up its visual codes through color that refers to the precious fabrics of kimonos, their chromatic patterns and sumptuous embroideries, but also to the great Italian tradition of theatrical tailoring, where art and craft come together to create on display, in true words meaning.
A world of memories that the designer's sensitivity updates and enriches with pop suggestions from two cultures, Italian and Japanese. All this "excitement" is harmonized by a timeless line.
Pure volumes and shapes that meet and redefine the space, seats placed next to each other to accommodate tables and shelves, shelves that become trays. Elements that need to be combined in a modular way to bring to life something that is constantly changing, like a theater set. The living room as a place for staging life.
