Isola is a fabric and modular sofa. It is an island of relaxation where you can land after a day of work, soft and cozy. The ability to change the position or completely remove the backrest allows you to play with the width of the seat, which becomes a conversation corner, a chaise longue, or even a bed. Designed to be placed in the center of a room in an open space so that it can be viewed from both sides in 360°, Isola is the result of continuous research and experimentation by our master craftsmen. Incredibly modern and versatile, it incorporates skills passed down from generation to generation.
Technical Features
Structure: Solid wood construction with springs in crossed elastic bands with high rubber content. Highly resilient polyurethane foam padding, composed of various layers of different densities. Thermoset fiber cover combined with jersey nylon. Backrest structure in profiled high-density polyurethane at various heights with metal insert.
Upholstery: Structural upholstery is available in all Mussi collection fabrics, with or without quilting. The leather version is only available in a version without quilting. The backrest cover is available in all fabrics and leathers of the Mussi collection. In the lower part of the backrests, a special anti-slip fabric facilitates anchoring. Cotton and acetate grosgrain trim in various colors embellishes the design in all its parts. Cushions: Optional backrest cushion padding in Assopiuma Gold certified channel goose down (over 90% goose down). Lining made of breathable Assopiuma-certified cotton.
Removable: The upholstery of the structure is completely removable by unfastening the anchor with Velcro. In the quilted version, it is necessary to loosen the laces securing the structure. The leather version is available only in a version without quilting. The backrest upholstery is completely removable by opening the hinges. The upholstery is removable in both fabric and leather versions.
Bases: Black plastic feet with non-slip base.
Sitting comfortSofa with a spacious seat, the depth can be adjusted as needed by simply moving the backrest seat. Thanks to this, you can enjoy the sofa in a 360-degree range, in any position, and optionally use it as a bed.
