Product description

Limes New is a sofa that upholds Saba's philosophical approach to a larger interior design project: "Everything shifts, everything changes," explains Parmenide, who initiated the creative process and guided it through research phases since the beginning of the 21st century. Limes New is an invitation to go beyond the conventions of a predetermined space and show how it can become something completely different by simply moving the backrests. Limes New is history renewed through tailoring and technical details: the asymmetric cut of the back cushions improves lower back support.
Research into new materials allowed us to obtain the impression of softness of the goose down filling and guarantee the highest comfort. The shapes have been subtly updated in line with a contemporary aesthetic, including cylindrical armrests in homage to the classical Latin heritage. Methacrylate and double-deep floating legs.
Materials
Construction made of wood, padded with polyurethane foam covered with welfoder on a base covered with polyester fiber with a weight of 150 gr/m2. The backrests and armrests are made of metal with a shiny chrome or black nickel finish and are available with a fabric cover or with fabric strips combined with a pressed 300 gr/m2 grammage.
10 cm high legs in transparent methacrylate with a rectangular cross-section.
The seat cushions are made of variable density polyurethane, covered with delicate velvet combined with 280gr/m2 polyester fiber.
The backrest and armrest cushions are made of siliconized microfiber woven from 100% white cotton. The rollable armrest is filled with polyurethane foam and covered with a cotton pad combined with polyester fiber with a grammage of 380 gr/m2.
