living room system designed to define the home landscape in a smooth and flexible way. This is Esosoft - Antonio Citterio's first design for Cassina - a modular sofa that embodies the timeless elegance and style for which the Italian designer is famous, while at the same time being an aspirational tribute to the art of the great masters and the practice of visualizing furniture by separating the structural part from the padded interior. In fact, Esosoft consists of an aluminum exoskeleton and a shell with an organic silhouette on which soft cushions are placed. The past and the future coexist in this shape - reminiscent of the concept of relaxed comfort typical of the 1960s - which benefits from state-of-the-art production techniques, consciously chosen to make the system circular and sustainable. Thanks to the work of Cassina LAB, the backrest cushions use materials such as polyurethane foam containing a certain amount of polyols from biological sources and blown recycled PET fiber.
The Esosoft collection consists of eight modules that can be used as individual sofas or combined into systems. corner, ensuring the highest flexibility in the configuration of living spaces. Esosoft consists of an aluminum exoskeleton and a shell with an organic silhouette on which soft pillows are placed. Its shape refers to the concept of casual comfort typical of the 1960s, while the materials and construction techniques are contemporary, deliberately selected with sustainability in mind.
The Esosoft collection consists of eight modules that can be used as single sofas or combine to create L-shaped sofas, providing the greatest flexibility in the configuration of living spaces. Benches, ottomans and a series of coffee tables complete the family.

BASE
Made of polished aluminum or painted matte anthracite.

PADDING
Made of polyurethane foam which contains a certain amount of polyols from biological sources and recycled PET wadding.

SHELL UPHOLSTERY
Removable, made of fabric from the Cassina Collection.
