Product description

Classic is a beechwood bar stool with a round frame molded from one piece, elegantly curved back legs and sloping front legs. Available in beech and oak in various colors. In 2018, horgenglarus decided to add a high-legged version whose design, materials and appearance correspond to the classic 1-380, but the seat height is 80 cm. The challenge was to modify the geometry of individual elements in such a way as to adapt to the ergonomic requirements of a bar stool, while visibly maintaining its close relationship with the classic 1-380. A new element was added a ring made of edge flat chrome-nickel steel or black powder-coated steel, which connects the legs and defines the geometry of the seat frame. The steel ring itself serves as a footrest; from a structural point of view, this is not necessary because the highly stress-stressed connection of the seat frame and legs is fully sufficient even for higher seat heights.
