Eileen Gray designed bar stools in several variants. Bar stool number 1 is the simplest and prettiest of all. Initially, it was placed together with the Castellar foldable mirror in the bathing corner of her bedroom in the summer house E 1027. It is a universal piece of furniture because it is adjustable in height and therefore adapts to guests of different sizes.
