Product description

Japanese designer Shin Azumi created the Loku series, making good use of the efficient methods of advanced three-dimensional (3D) veneer technology, which allows the seat to be molded into more complex forms, making the optically and physically light shell comfortable, supportive and solid. The molded seat and backrest are made from a thin plywood veneer that, when heated, can be formed into tight curves to stiffen the material. The Loku Tubular bar stool and countertop is available with a metal tubular base made of oak or walnut plywood. The stool has been designed for both commercial and residential use, providing different variants to suit different applications.
