APOGEO™ - Table with a top made of very transparent, tinted tempered glass, 10 mm. thickness, decorated with sandblasting into handmade stars, Trilli effect (gold powder), gold leaf-shaped inserts.
Metal base, 30 mm. thick, decorated with laser cuts and covered with gold leaves (and a matte black painting for Umbra).
"Eclisse" was born from the precise desire to create magical environments in which energy flows, as happens during those unique events that have always enchanted man and which we call eclipses. Places of wonders that the eye never tires of seeing. The sequencing, overlapping, cancellation of circular shapes softened by the irregular organic shape of the crystal, the fluid graphics of celestial inconsistency and the high or low, solid or hollow, metal bases. Material mix of crystal and perforated metal for curved tables with lunar lines.
This collection consists of 9 tables, each arranged in 4 lines: "Azimuth, Saros, Apogeo and Prominence"; and three screens that bring the "Eclissarsi" line to life.
The high and low tables designed to expand and multiply their spatial dimension infinitely were UNICA's response to the precise desire to reproduce this suggestion that only a special event observer can provide: the magic of an eclipse, during which alternating lights and shadows can combine regardless of place or time.
