The Torre Maxi table, designed by Enzo Berti, transforms the hardness of marble and its intrinsic solidity into a sinuous, sculptural object made of balanced, refined volumes. The model, offered in one size, consists of a round top with a thin edge, then tilted and machined at an angle of 45° to give the impression of great lightness. It is supported by a base made of a single block of natural stone, tapered, with a double cone effect that highlights the natural veining of the material, available in eight possible variants in the catalog. Torre Maxi can be used in a living room or as a valuable conference table. The idea of creating a collection of interior design objects - seats and coffee tables - in which the internal hardness of the marble is softened by the curvature of the shape, was led by the Pedina-Torre family designed by Enzo Berti. The pieces resemble the silhouette of the famous board game, with bases with tapered conical sections that highlight the natural material, which can be chosen from eight types in the catalog. The top is round and has a special embossed edge, which is available in two sizes for the Torre table line and three variants for Pedina. It has a chamfered top to ensure the best ergonomics also when sitting, and its edge can be made of contrasting marble for a beautiful decorative effect.
