Product description
The Ryoba table by Piero Lissoni pays homage to the naturalness of materials and the beauty of imperfections, with a frame of drawn brass tubing and a top in European cherry wood. Very thick triangular legs create an easel on which a large tabletop rests: 3 solid wood boards, each slightly different from the other, simply assembled without glue with a subtle narrowing. The Franciscan proportions of the table, which are narrow and long to maintain the natural size of the trunks, encourage a new, intimate atmosphere, while the exposed cracks and knots in the tiles highlight the poetry of this beautiful, traditional wood that takes on new life and becomes contemporary.
