Product description

Included as one of the en forme libre tables created in 1938–1939, the final design was created in 1952 for the student rooms of the Maison du Mexique at the Cité Universitaire Internationale in Paris.
With a frame designed to be as compact as possible, the tables can be stacked together to create larger, symmetrical units. In 1952, the wooden legs were replaced with metal, bent ones with a triangular cross-section. In 1956, a low-level version was created for Galerie Steph Simon in Paris. The great depth of the wooden top, available in solid wood and also with a glossy or matte finish, resonates with a rare beauty. Meanwhile, form follows function at the edges, reflecting the size of a human hand. In 2018, two new variants of Mexique tables will be launched, designed for five to six guests. In addition, a number of new finishes further increase the cooperation potential of these tables and serve new purposes.
