The En chair is characterized by its design: the curved backrest is reminiscent of the ancient Greek klismos chairs, and the legs characterized by a looped frame give a sense of continuity, creating a balanced, soft-edged look. Here, attention to a round and pleasant shape is combined with a high level of coziness, as Cecilie Manz says: "I tried to make the chair modest in size and expression, but still have character and good seating comfort."
A chair made of maple wood has a textile or leather seat cover, available in a palette of soft and natural shades, as the designer comments: "The maple wood was chosen for its light tone and even texture, which blends well with the subtle colors of the textiles and the naturally tanned leather selected for seats."
The En collection, meaning "one" in Danish and "circle", "connection" or "destiny" in Japanese, was born from the desire to create a wooden round table combined with a chair, characterized by rounded motifs, which create a friendly atmosphere.
