Product description
Two long pieces for the back legs, another pair for the front legs and another six for the crossbars and seat rails. All this from a 4.4 meter long piece of wood. What more do you need for a solid and comfortable seat in a café?
Momang takes its inspiration from two old chairs by Johan Lindau. Gutang is still used in Swedish restaurants, while the first version of Momang flourishes in many cafes. Two decades later, Johan Lindau offers greater comfort and a timeless graphic expression, with woven tape as the seat. The ascetic retro style is strikingly clear, with a strong and thick expression when viewed from the side and a thin and slim one when viewed from the front.
”The recipe is simple: take a wooden board, cut it, then add braided tape. Serve!”
Johan Lindau
