Walnut / Beech / AshPipe transcodes an object of ancient tradition, the pipe, which in the collective imagination is a symbol of sophistication, a reflective attitude, but also of a cultured and aggregative community and the ability to slowly savor life, deriving satisfaction from what is beautiful.
Symbolism evoked by the sinuous form of the design and the nobility of the material from which it is made, i.e. solid beech wood. However, the most evocative reminder is the ring separating and connecting the rear seat leg with the element that rises to support the backrest. A sign with strong decorative and identifying values, which in Pipe also fulfills an important structural function and highlights the intersection resulting from bold technological research.
Pipe expresses formal evolution also in the complete absence of beams, a choice that gives the chair great formal lightness and the apparent simplicity is compensated by a technological device hidden in the structure of the upholstered seat, which guarantees its solidity. Or again, in fact, a backrest that draws a soft curve while being comfortable, enveloping and durable.
The chair is available in a refined range of wood species with contrasting connecting rings. The seat is characterized by skillful padding that favors the correct dispersion of body weight and is covered with fabric or leather, according to a tailoring process distinguished by the culture of detail and the quality of materials.
Like all Piaval models, Pipe can be adapted in an infinite number of combinations to meet specific requirements of the contract project.
