Product description

Part of the Oki-Nami range, this modern chair was originally designed for the Oki-Nami Japanese restaurant in Brighton, UK in 2008. The idea was to create contemporary tables, chairs and stools that would reflect craftsmanship, proportions and attention to detail. in the Japanese creative industries, it also had to be comfortable and durable enough to adapt to the intended restaurant environment. Nazanin Kamali designed the interior of the restaurant and collaborated with Case to create tables, chairs and stools. The chair was shortlisted for the Restaurant and Bar Design Awards in 2009. The distinctive wrap around back naturally serves as an armrest and provides support when sitting on your side.
