Product description

The Rift has a rigid polyurethane seat with the same coating; the base of the bracket is made of powder-coated square steel pipes. The chairs can be stacked on top of each other, up to 4 heights. Rift, borrowing the geological term for a crack or fissure, is a seating system that fits perfectly into today's living space. Unlike modular systems that are based on the rational use of geometry, Rift is based on the unexpected and asymmetric arrangement of various volumes, intentional randomness inspired by the unpredictability of nature. Multiple layers create relaxing seating, designed for individuals and at the same time ideal for public places: like tectonic plates, the different layers tend to collide and overlap, giving a very original sense of movement, transforming even the most formal space into something fluid, but never its character not changing.
