design that has truly stood the test of time, the 675 chair is one of the most recognizable chairs of the 20th century. Originally created in 1952, the chair's most distinctive feature is its curved walnut-veneered plywood backrest. A pioneer of the time, Robin Day overcame
the difficulty of forming a single molded plywood chair with armrests by creating a curved shape using a single curve rather than the obvious double curve. Working closely with the Robin and Lucienne Day Foundation, Case returned to the original design and faithfully restored the elements and details of the 1952 original in the 2014 chair. Suitable for both the dining room and home office.
