The new BetteCraft is a round, concave washbasin with a beautiful shape inspired by a seashell. BetteCraft combines the best of both worlds - the sculptural aesthetic of the finest porcelain bowls and the perfect material for the bathroom: glazed titanium steel. This beautifully shaped basin received the Design Plus Award 2019 at ISH, the world's leading bathroom trade fair.
BetteCraft's delicate design language and brilliant surface are so flawless and artistic that they immediately give the impression of Chinese porcelain. German design studios Tesseraux + Partner created a design that gave Bette's glazed titanium steel a rounded shape that tapers at the top and bottom.
This type of shape is unusual for the extremely strong and hard glazed titanium steel and is usually associated with soft clay and hand shaping on the potter's wheel. To achieve this design, each BetteCraft sink is individually handcrafted and then glazed both inside and out.
Beauty in the service of utility
The delicate frame of the washbasin shows an incredible presence when placed on a console or other suitable furniture base and appears to attract light.
Bette has managed to put beauty in the service of usefulness, as the elegant narrowing of the washbasin body towards top is also extremely practical as a splash guard. Easy to clean, durable and virtually indestructible, glazed titanium steel gives the washbasin body great practical value in everyday life.

BetteCraft is available in two sizes to choose from. In addition to elegant white, Bette also offers bodies in a wide range of colors, including exclusive matte shades and new effect colors such as shiny Midnight, velvety Blue Satin or opalescent Forest.
Bette has also demonstrated a real passion for detail with the drain cover, which is available to order in an enameled version, making it ideal for any bathroom where good design is of paramount importance.
The successful combination of good design, solid materials and consumer benefits also convinced the expert jury of the German Design Council. They presented BetteCraft with the Design Plus Award powered by ISH 2019.
