Artelinea presents the prototype collection of free-standing washbasins Tristano e Isotta at Il Salone del Mobile 2022 in Milan.
This collection is available in two variants, an expression of the company's know-how: the study of a tradition that looks to the future. In a sign of myth and sophistication, Anita Brotto draws on antiques depicting Tristan, evoking the solid Doric style, the first of the Greek architectural orders, and Isotta, which the designer describes as a "modern Caryatid", a female sculpture that, instead of a basket on her head, now holds a glass washbasin.
Artelinea tells the tradition in two different but complementary versions.
In Tristano, the Zaffiro washbasin is supported by a black cage-like structure, solid but light and Isotta, with a bracket in a brown gold finish and a combined washbasin.
