Product description

The ION metal bed by MAZANLI is the result of a true passion for simplicity.
Contemporary Berlin design captivates with the economical use of material. A clear, symmetrical shape, right angles and the omission of unnecessary parts give the impression of weightlessness.
This is possible by welding thin but very durable square steel pipes (1.5 cm x 1.5 cm). The steel used is German quality steel, untreated and develops a unique patina over time, depending on the surrounding climate. This creates an exciting contrast between the industrial-minimalist character and the filigree construction. ION is also available in white or black powder-coated steel that does not patina.
The bed frame is fully welded and will be delivered in one piece. There are no screws.
ION is 30 cm high. Thanks to this, you sleep at a comfortable height (the height will, of course, depend on the mattress used). Various widths are available, from 140 cm to 200 cm. The length of the bed is 200 cm.

The slats included with this bed, specially manufactured for MAZANLI, have a particularly low height of only 1.19 cm. The wood used is FCSC-certified beech wood. The tiles used are particularly suitable for latex and foam mattresses, but will work with any other. Please note that the mattress and bedding (i.e. sheets, pillows, blanket) are not included in delivery.
Important note: The untreated steel version is not actually treated. This means that it will have scratches, welding marks (including the "rainbow effect") will be clearly visible, and the steel will develop a patina over time (i.e. the steel will show signs of rust). This is all intentional and part of the product design. If the above effects are not desired, please choose the powder-coated version of this product in black or white. They are protected and do not develop a patina.
