Tacchini Italia also presents the elegant Joaquim table collection, designed by the Italian-Brazilian designer Giorgio Bonaguro, inspired by the softness of Brazilian designer furniture that was designed in the 1940s and 1960s for the modernist architecture of Niemeyer, Costa, Vilanova Artigus and Bo Bardi. From an aesthetic point of view, Joaquim's geometric and linear forms pay homage to the simple yet elegant lines of Joaquim Tenreiro, considered one of the forefathers of modern tropical design. From a technical point of view, this collection was designed to recover production waste, in complete synchronization and compliance with the principles of upcycling and ecological sustainability, the ubiquitously praised cornerstones of Brazilian creativity. The refined tables feature a metallic structure with tops and bases in Patagonia or Saint-Laurent marble, obtained by reusing parts of slabs from other manufacturers to produce the final furnishings.
