Product description

The MR collection represents some of Mies van der Rohe's earliest steel furniture designs. Four copies of the MR side table were found in the famous Tugendhat house. The design has been manufactured by Knoll since 1977.
FEATURES
The KnollStudio logo and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe's signature are embossed on the base of the tables. The MR Ludwig Mies van der Rohe collection of 1927-29 elevated industrial materials to the rank of art. This collection includes a side table made of seamless steel pipes and glass in the form of pure geometry.
STRUCTURE
Table top made of transparent, polished or frosted flat glass.
The frame and legs are made of pipes and rectangular steel, polished to a mirror finish.
FINISHES
Top in clear or frosted glass.
Base only in polished chrome.

Museum of Modern Art Award, 1977.
Design Center Stuttgart Award, 1978.
