The REMO plastic chair, designed by Konstantin Grcic, has a plastic shell made of polypropylene, available in 12 different colors including black, white, basalt gray, signal gray, yellow-gray, avion blue, green-blue, fern, oxide red , white-green, coral red and sulfur yellow. The metal frame of the chair can be chrome-plated or powder-galvanized and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The chair is stackable. The chair is an absolutely central element not only for Plank, but also in the history of design. As Konstantin Grcic recently stated in an interview with Marco Romanelli: “If we wanted to tell a design story with one type of furniture, we could do it with a chair. In my opinion, this is the most expressive type of furniture by far, because it has the ability to capture an entire culture, showing us the past and present way of life of people, their customs, traditions, dreams and, of course, the state of technological development of society. And it is the telling of this little piece of ourselves, of course using the latest production technologies, that fascinates Plank in each new chair. The REMO chair, presented at Salone del Mobile 2015, was transformed into the REMO plastic chair in 2016 in Milan.
