Despite its visual lightness, Strain provides the comfort expected from large-sized sofas thanks to a seat with flexible support, a stretched backrest shell and a free lumbar cushion that further facilitates various seating possibilities. The seat cushion and backrest shell made of a two-dimensional board are superimposed on a complex metal structure, the form of which is obtained by stretching from the top of the structure to the bottom of the seat. The Strain product family includes armchair, bar tables and tables of various heights. This diverse product family has one thing in common: the design of the product's base and legs, which is always a challenge. The solution to the very distinctive leg connections is the interlacing and twisting of steel pipes, whose modular relationships may vary depending on the specific application. The result is a recognizable product family with variations of a common core idea, in which the concept of intersections is not only an attractive formal interplay, but also an element complementing the hardness of the structure. Visually light and unusually slim, the Strain armchair provides extraordinary comfort thanks to the elasticity of the leather and mesh fabric tightly stretched over the seat shell. A lumbar pillow provides additional comfort. The saddle served as the inspiration for the ergonomic design of the solid wood bar stool seat. The completely functional family is complemented by multi-dimensional coffee tables with various finishes.
