Product description

Husk is inspired by the outer shell of corn. Corn fields highlight the landscape of northern Italy, especially around the city of Udine. Corn is a resource used around the world, across all borders, and comes in many forms.
For Thorpe, this was an opportunity to translate the architecture of the corn ear husk into a globally recognized and accepted everyday object. Husk's design for the Moroso home collection drew on the international sensibility of the M'Afrique outdoor collection, produced in Dakar, Senegal.
Injected, flame-retardant polyurethane foam on an internal steel and wood frame, glides on PVC. The shell covers are not removable.
