Made using traditional carpentry techniques, the Caravela chair is part of a family of bespoke chairs designed to furnish homes and hotel spaces with style and elegance. Inspired by the traditional Portuguese Caravela boat, this chair is a tribute to some of the greatest and bravest in Portuguese history. The Caravela is a small, highly maneuverable sailing ship developed in the 15th century by the Portuguese for exploration along the west coast of Africa and into the Atlantic Ocean. The shape of the Caravela chair reminds us of Caravela sails, it is solid and elegant.
