Product description

Adam Goodrum participated with a vibrant, striking lounge chair in the Febrik and Kvadrat Knit Project exhibition! during 3 Days of Design in Copenhagen. Without further ado, the product landed in Åhus and became Big Talk, one of Blå Station's main design surprises for 2021.
Big Talk is geometry manifested: two wheels define the throne for the art of sitting. The front part of the backrest and seat shine in the same color, while the backrest can be combined with textile samples in a color book format, all to give any space a bit of strong color. Big Talk works as an obvious solitaire game or can be played back and forth to create a snake-like creature facing different directions. Both the seat and backrest are shaped from molded foam, and the whole thing is covered with velvet in various shades by Febrik.
”I was inspired by the textile samples, such as the fan-shaped concentration of colors. The upholstery creates a modular tête-à-tête sofa or the "love seat" collection from the Victorian era, in which two or more seats can be combined in an undulating arrangement. Two people can carry on a quiet conversation (in keeping with Victorian modesty) side by side while observing the back of the other person's seat and the spectrum of graduated colored stripes.”
