Product description

Rocking chair, upholstered with satem, woven from sailing rope. Unam is a collection consisting of a chair, armchair, lounge chair, sofa and coffee tables made of ash wood, woven from sailing rope or gray raw leather, and a seat upholstered in fabric, vinyl or leather.
The new items in the collection are a rocking chair and a bistrot coffee table with a top made of ash and solid wood.
The combination of traditional elements, such as curves and string, and their combination into a modern design makes Unam an interesting and extremely readable furniture collection .
Inspired by the pragmatic designs of Jean Jeanneret in India, Herkner transferred these concepts into his own design language.
The structure of the chair consists of simple wooden elements that refer to traditional wooden structures. The two arched elements that serve as the front legs and arms speak volumes about its design and character. The latter is available in two finishes, one woven and one coated. The combination of traditional elements such as curvature and string and their articulation into a modern design makes Unam an interesting and extremely legible piece of furniture.
The Unam chair is a place of relaxation and forgetting about external influences. The combination of materials and proportions gives a feeling of protection and security.
Unam is now also available in a new outdoor version in iroko with interwoven sailing rope, available in white, black, hemp, brown, red and gray. The foam on the seat is waterproof.
