Product description

The PROMENADE armchair by Philippe Nigro was designed both as a standalone element and as a complement to the sofa collection of the same name, which combines its functions. The project is distinguished by a strong decorative language inspired by minimalism and attention to detail of the Viennese Secession, an artistic trend of the last century. Starting with square-section woodworking, first used in 1906 in the "Postsparkasse" series, Philippe Nigro created a visible structure with Canaletto walnut contours that surround a large and welcoming chair. The frame is complemented by fabric-covered panels, which gives a distinctive character, especially when placed in the center of the room, due to the Vienna straw insert in the top strap, which is another detail that highlights the side and back of the armchair, similar to the sofa. A new approach to softness in a refined home environment.
