Product description

At work and at home we need common spaces where we can connect with each other when it suits us and work around each other when we can't. ColourForm modules offer different backrest heights, which help create a varied landscape. Use stand-alone high-back components to enhance settings with moments of privacy, and low-back modules to create configurations that encourage collaboration. Combine them to carve interesting topographies or gracefully guide guests through a space.
Carole Baijings and Stefan Scholten began the design of ColourForm Sofa Group by researching color. Once they had settled on a palette, they carved minimal forms that focused attention on color and detail.
Exposed wooden elements are delicately colored with stains developed by Scholten & Baijings specifically to complement their fresh textile palette.
Scholten & Baijings collaborated with leading textile supplier Maharam in the development of two upholstery fabrics for ColourForm. The first, Pare, is a woven blend with a soft, matte texture. It is available in a quilted version for a more playful look. The second material, Tracery, combines a monochromatic effect with the added interest of patterned meshes. Each of them is available in many colors.
