Product description

"Cradle" is a unique combination of two seating typologies; a hammock with a mesh structure and a conventional upholstered lounge chair. The seat is derived from the studio's approach of materials, process and industrial design, research into the construction of mesh materials and the study of the relationship between traditional seating elements. "Cradle" uses a specially crafted cutting pattern that allows the non-elastic fabric to function three-dimensionally. This allows for adequate tension to comfortably support the body and also visually and physically reduces the weight of the product.
Seat made of fire-resistant polyurethane foam and polyester fiber over an internal wooden frame. Backrest structure made of powder-coated steel and flexible technical fabric. The covers of the cradles cannot be removed.
