Using a minimum of materials in a maximum of ingenuity, the Crosshatch chair and ottoman use both craftsmanship and technology to achieve enticingly refined results. Designed by EOOS, a Viennese studio that has received over 70 international awards, including Italy's coveted Compasso d'Oro, the Crosshatch chair is light and transparent, extremely easy to lift for a conversation at the desk or, when combined with an ottoman, for relaxation at the table cocktail party.
Parachute lines, a common industrial product, are an integral part of the chair's design. The downward strings create a system of internal tension and provide the necessary back support, giving the feeling of being enclosed in a comfortable, protective nest. The parachute cord is available in several colors and the frame in the selected color of natural wood. Thanks to its simple, classic profiles, the Crosshatch chair and ottoman can work in a variety of environments, from an executive's office or reception area to a penthouse or suburban living room.
A nice extension of the Crosshatch chair family, it seats up to two people. The sofa is available in a wide range of wood frame finishes, upholstery options and string colors.
