Product description

Pixel Light, a new seating system design by Sergio Bicy, results from the desire to expand the concept of flexibility of form to achieve a more refined fluidity of space. We explored new possibilities and applications of the Pixel sofa, an iconic Saba design that celebrates its tenth anniversary this year. We have brightened its form, improving its technical parameters, while keeping intact its unique style, which now allows it to inhabit both indoor and outdoor spaces. The thought that accompanied us during this project was, in fact, the desire to blur the boundaries between interior and exterior.
Pixel Light outdoor: its characteristics are visible in the precise silhouette of the steel structure ensuring resistance to corrosion, very elegant in the lacquered color finish champagne or noir. It can be decorated with textile strips for a summer charm, or left plain for a more essential look. The ability to customize the combination of elements allows for the use of classic armrest panels, lower padded armrests for alternative comfort or a new low table element in naturally lacquered iroko wood. The main innovation that we are proud of is a special seat construction technique that allows excess water to be drained away. The frame is made of marine plywood and the lining is made of heat-welded, waterproof canvas.
Pixel Light indoor adds shine and lightness to any space, while remaining true to its nomadic and fluid DNA. It differs from the original design with a lacquered iron antenna base available in a champagne or noir finish, new comfortable back cushions in two sizes, as well as a special and high-performance canvas lining made of breathable microfiber quilted with cotton canvas.
