Designed in 1983, the Max sofa has retained its iconic look ever since. It's not just a sofa, it's a sculptural icon whose sinuous lines give it star status regardless of whether it is placed in a home or hotel setting, such as waiting rooms, corporate offices, lounge areas or boutiques. The lightweight tubular metal structure – available in chrome, satin, polished, champagne or black chrome – supports the distinctive seat cushion and tubular kidney bean-shaped backrest. The Max sofa can be upholstered in leather or fabric. The fashionable version is made of unique black and white optically printed leather upholstery and captured the collective imagination thanks to the unforgettable photography of Gabriele Basilico.
