Designed in 1982, this legendary sofa is intended to play a central role in the home or in public spaces such as waiting rooms, lobbies or corporate offices. Its subtle, minimalist aesthetic is the result of precisely crafted upholstery that demonstrates the company's ability to produce furniture expressing the perfect combination of a penchant for innovation and tradition derived from many years of experience in classic upholstery. Available in fabric or leather upholstery versions, Magister shows off its best qualities in the latter case, where the impeccable design of this sofa is highlighted by exquisite quilting. In the Magister sofa, traditional buttons have been replaced with a more modern two-hole quilting technique. Raised from the floor on satin metal legs, the Magister sofa is equipped with cylindrical armrests stuffed with goose down and a retractable metal shelf behind the seat back which, thanks to an ingenious mechanism, transforms the Magister sofa into a handy and comfortable single bed.
