Product description
The Maharaja of Indore commissioned Eckart Muthesius to build and furnish his Manik Bagh palace. Completed four years later, the palace was an Art Deco masterpiece. Muthesius complemented his architecture with his own furniture and lamp designs, including the Usha spiral umbrella stand that coils upwards like an enchanted snake. The original chrome version reflects the surroundings, while the new colors, black and brown, particularly emphasize the design lines.
Umbrella stand. Flat steel, powder-coated in black or brown or chrome-plated. Base wood, satin black lacquered. Drainer made of steel sheet painted in black, brown or gray.
