Product description
The SIMAN collection is a family of 8 concrete tableware objects created by Italian designer Gian Paolo Venier for our 2018 series.
Gian Paolo Venier, an avid traveler, is constantly in search of distant atmospheres that could contaminate his design vocabulary. The starting point for this collection was a postcard depicting the ancient Toghrul Tower, located near Tehran (Iran). The name comes from the Persian term "siman", which means concrete. Characteristic pleating that creates an ever-changing play of shadows and depths, the 8 elements - cake stand, short candle holder, tall candle holder, handle, small vessel, large vessel, vase and washbasin - have a strong architectural character. For a panorama of small architectures that fill our interior landscapes with a highly graphic and timeless personality. Available in 2 shades that emphasize the texture of concrete - light gray and anthracite - the collection is hand-made by UrbiEtOrbi in Greece.
