The Clessidra vase is a timeless glass object with beautiful scales, whose vase container rises gracefully above a light base to lift the flowers into the air.
The prolific Italian architect and designer Joe Colombo created a wide range of attractive glass objects in his time. He worked with shapes, light and silhouettes and impressively created small sculptures from even the most functional home furnishings.
Colombo's original drawings from 1969 present a unique idea for a series of multi-functional glass objects based on geometric figures. One of them is the tall, slender Clessidra vase.
